October 1, 2009
Station 75 was requested to respond to Happy Day
Chinese Restaurant in Waymart for a car leaking gasoline in the
parking lot.
October 4, 2009
Station 75, Waymart EMS, and Mobile 9 were
dispatched for a MVA on Farview Mountain with injuries. Chief 75
arrived on scene to report a 2 car MVA near the monument. Along with
taking care of the incident, Rescue 75 crews assisted EMS crews on
scene with patient packaging and assessment.
October 4, 2009
Engine, Rescue, and Tanker 75 were dispatched on
the box alarm to assist Station 43 on a brush fire on White Oak
Drive. All units were cancelled while enroute.
October 4, 2009
Station 75 was dispatched to assist Waymart EMS
for lifting assistance at 8 Crossroad in Clinton Township.
October 6, 2009
Station 75 and 1st Alarm Haz-Mat Box alarm were
dispatched for an unknown substance covering 2 1/2 miles of Route 6
outside of Waymart. Command 75 performed a size up of the large
spill and determined that it was an unknown vehicle that leaked a
black substance over a 2 and a half mile section of roadway. Once it
was determined the spill posed no potential danger, Penn-DOT crews
spread a sand mixture to mitigate the spill.

Station 75, Waymart EMS, and Mobile 9 were
dispatched for a two car MVA at the intersection of Route 296 and
Owego Turnpike.
October 7, 2009
Station 75 was dispatched to assist Unit 64-2
(Wayne County EMA) on a tree down on Route 6 near the Penn-Dot shed.
October 10, 2009
Station 75 and Waymart EMS were dispatched for a
possible structure fire on Route 6 near the Dollar General.
Initial caller stated that they drove by and they thought that a
porch was on fire. Chief 75 went enroute and had the first alarm box
assignment dispatched. Chief 75 arrived in the area of the
scene to find nothing. The first alarm was advised to stand-by at
their locations while Station 75 investigated. Chief 75 reported
that there was flames coming from the bar-b-que pit in Kennedy's
Grove and cancelled all units.
October 13, 2009
Station 75 was dispatched for traffic control to
assist Station's 51 & 60 while they were operating on a two car MVA
head on at Exit 7 of the Casey Highway.
October 18, 2009
Station 75 and Waymart EMS were dispatched for a
smoke condition in a residence at an apartment building near the
Waymart Pharmacy. Unit 75 PD arrived on scene to report a light
smoke condition. Chief 75 arrived on scene and established command.
Crews entered the structure to find a furnace that had
malfunctioned. Units ventilated the building and went back in
service.
October 24, 2009
Station 75, Waymart EMS, and Mobile 9 were
dispatched for a two car MVA at the intersection of Route 296 and
The Owego Turnpike.
October 31, 2009
Station 75 was dispatched to assist Waymart EMS
for lifting assistance at the Gravity Bar & Restaurant. A female
patient fell down a flight of stairs while carrying a dryer.

Station75, Waymart EMS, and Mobile 9 were
dispatched for a 2 car MVA on Route 6 near American Steel Classics.
All vehicles were off the road and there was no entrapment.
