on the NEW
ENGINE 75!
A
dedication
for our New
Engine will
be held on
June 13 at
7pm!
The New
Engine is in
service, as
of May 9,
2012!

Early in
2011, the
WVFC ordered
a Brand New
Engine. It
took many
months for
the planning
of this
truck and it
will be used
for many
years to
come. The
final vendor
chosen was
Rosenbauer
Fire
Apparatus
and the
Engine has
been being
built in
South
Dakota. On
February 28,
2012 the
truck was
delivered to
the station.
For the next
month crews
will be
training on
the new
pumper and
it will be
carefully
planned out
before going
into
service. We
will keep
everyone
updated!
Like it
states on
the side of
the new
truck
"THANKS FOR
YOUR
CONTINUOUS
SUPPORT"
Without the
public, we
would not
exist. This
Engine is
the first
brand new
pumper
purchased
since 1969
and first
brand new
piece of
apparatus
purchased
since 1976.
