Station 75 runs 2
calls on Monday
On Monday July 7, 2008, Station 75 ran 2 calls.
One being a MVA on Route 6 and Keen Lake Road, and the other being a
fire alarm at The Waymart Hotel.

On Wednesday night, July 2, 2008 Station 75 did
some Vehicle Rescue Training at the Waymart Fire Hall.

Another early morning standby
for Station 75!
On the morning of June 20, 2008 Rescue 75 was
dispatched to standby at Station 62 (Whites Crossings) while they, along
with many other companies, were operating on a structure fire in
Simpson. Rescue 75 stood by from
12:30 A.M. - 4:30 A.M.

On the morning of June 16, 2008 Rescue 75 was
dispatched to standby at Station 42 (Vandling) while they, along
with many other companies, were operating on a second alarm
structure fire on Main Street in Vandling. Rescue 75 stood by from
3:00 A.M. - 6:00 A.M.

Storms make complete
mess in Waymart!
On Tuesday night June 10, and early Wednesday
morning, Station 75 and other assisting companies were very busy
after the reign of thunderstorms came through the Waymart Area.
Waymart and other crews were working from mid Tuesday evening until
early Wednesday morning around 1:30 A.M. Chief 75 ran command in
the fire hall and assisting us was Engine 43, Car 43, Mini 94, and
Tanker 94. Overall, there were 17 trees down, one motor vehicle
accident, a transformer fire, an automatic fire alarm, and FP 75
shut down some roads.

Picnic and 5 calls!
| This
weekend was very busy for Station 75, our annual picnic
was on Friday and Saturday night, Sunday was cleanup,
and there were 5 calls during the weekend. Look below

Honesdale for Parade
On Monday May 26, 2008, Memorial Day. Tanker 75,
Engine 75, and Brush 75 went to Honesdale for their Memorial Day
Parade.

During this holiday weekend, crews
from Station 75 worked all of Friday and Saturday at our
coin drop. We would like to thank everybody who helped
or contributed. |

On
Saturday May 24, 2008, during the coin drop, Station 75, Waymart Ambulance,
and Mobile 9 were dispatched for a one car MVA into a deer on
Farview Mountain. |
Car fire on
Wednesday night!
On the night of May 21,
2008, Station 75 and Waymart EMS were dispatched for a
car fire on Davitt Road. Fire was extinguished before units arrived
on scene.
Possible Chimney
fire in Browndale is the first call for the new Rescue 75
and brings Station 75 to 100 calls for the year!
On the night of May 16,
2008, Station 75 was dispatched to assist Company 43
and their 1st alarm box assignment on a possible chimney fire on
White Rock Drive. This was the first call for our new
rescue truck, and this call brought us to a 100 calls
for the year. We were cancelled enroute.
Mock Car
Accident Held at Western Wayne High School!
On Thursday May 15, 2008
the Waymart Volunteer Fire Company, Waymart Volunteer
Ambulance Corps, and the Lake Ariel Volunteer Fire Company
worked together to show the students at WWHS a mock car
accident. We did this in light of what has and what can
happen in case of an accident, because the prom at the high
school is this weekend.
